The family of the late Noel Young would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. Thanks to those who telephoned, sent cards and messages of comfort, called at the home and brought gifts, ran errands, the gravedigger and those who gave donations in lieu of flowers towards Cancer Research. Thanks also to all our neighbours, friends and the wider family circle who joined with us for the funeral service, the people who stood respectfully along the route of the funeral cortege, at the graveside and, indeed, everyone who showed kindness in any way. Sincere thanks to Dr Hunter, Fairhill Medical Practice, the Ambulance Service, all the medical staff in the RVH, Belfast City Hospital Cancer Centre, the District Nursing Team and carers who attended to Noel’s needs compassionately during his illness. Special thanks to Mr Leslie Craig for a beautiful funeral service also to Mr Lennox Scott for his pastoral care to Noel over the weeks prior to his passing and for his part in the service at the graveside. Finally, our most humble thanks to Jordan and all the staff at Garvin’s Funeral Service for the caring, dignified and professional manner in which the funeral, from first contact to finish, was conducted.
We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
