Acknowledgement for Nellie Wilson

The family of the late Nellie Wilson wish to express our thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised and supported us in our sad bereavement.  We are grateful to everyone who prayed for us, sent sympathy cards, messages or telephoned and to those who provided food and gave donations in lieu of flowers.  Thank you to neighbours and friends who paid their respects as the funeral cortége left Glenburn and to those who came to the cemetery.  We wish to express our thanks to Dr. Hunter and staff at Fairhill Medical Practice, McLaughlin’s Chemist, Magherafelt District Nursing team, the Palliative care team and all who cared for mum’s medical needs.  Special thanks to Mr Jimmy Evans who conducted the funeral service and Pastor John McDermott and Mr Ralph Pickering for assisting.  Lastly, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Jordan Kennedy of Garvin’s Funeral Service and his team for the compassionate and dignified manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements.  We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

Acknowledgement for Belle Mawhinney

The family of the late Christabel (Belle) Mawhinney would like to thank all who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.  To all those who sent cards, messages, telephoned or contacted us in any manner, thank you all most sincerely for all your kindness and comforting words.  Grateful thanks to everyone who kindly donated to Macmillan Nursing in lieu of flowers. Thanks to the staff at Ward C5 in Antrim Area Hospital, Doctors and Staff at Castledawson Surgery and Bellaghy District Nurses for all the care given to Belle during her short illness.  Special thanks to Canon Colin Welsh for all his input and aspects of pastoral care and for officiating at the funeral service. Special thanks to Ann Reid and Jonny Mawhinney for their unfailing assistance in times of need. Many thanks to Rev John Mullan and the Elders from Castledawson Presbyterian Church for permitting interment in their graveyard.  Finally, our most heartfelt thanks to Jordan and staff at Garvin’s Funeral Service for their caring, dignified and professional manner in which the funeral was conducted.  As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our sincere thanks and appreciation.

Acknowledgement for Samuel (Sam) McCartney

Sally, wife of the late Samuel (Sam) McCartney and brother of Sadie, Robert, Anne, Sandy, Hazel, Margaret and Vera, wish to express their sincere appreciation to all who sympathised with them in their sad bereavement.  Heartfelt thanks to everyone who telephoned, sent messages and cards and gave donations to Let the Bible Speak which came to a total of £1730 plus a belated donation received of £80, which brought the final total to £1810.  A special word of thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Coagh Surgery, the team from Homecare Independent Living and Marie Curie Nurses who made it possible for us to care for Sam at home.  We gratefully appreciated the pastoral care given by Rev Ryan McKee and Rev William McCrea during the months of Sam’s illness and for conducting the funeral services, also for the love and support of members of Calvary Free Presbyterian Church. A simple thank you is not enough for Jordan Kennedy at Garvin’s Funeral Service for his sensitive and gentle care from start to finish in carrying out the funeral arrangements and also that of his staff.  As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude.

The father, daughter and sister of the late David Forsythe would like to express their sincere appreciation to all those who sympathised with them in their sad bereavement. The family of the late Hugo Rankin would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. The family of the late George Pollock would like to express their sincere appreciation to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
