Ivor, Pamela, Paul and the entire family circle would like to thank all those who offered their sympathy on the recent passing of a dear wife, mother, mother-in-law, nana, sister, sister-in-law and aunt.  Thank you to all those who telephoned, sent cards and messages of comfort, and who called to the house.  Also, many thanks to all who sent donations for Marie Curie and Laurel House Antrim Hospital in lieu of flowers.  We would also like to thank all our neighbours, friends and family circle who joined us for the funeral service, the people who stood respectfully at the home, along the route of the funeral cortége and at the graveside.  Thank you to Pastor Alan Dundas for his pastoral care throughout and for officiating at the funeral service. Our sincere thanks to Dr Hunter Fairhill Medical Practice, Nursing Team Laurel House Antrim Hospital, District Nursing Team, Marie Curie Nursing Team, Dalriada Nursing Team and Community Homecare Staff who all attended to Mary’s needs.  Finally, heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Jordan and all the staff of Garvin’s Funeral Service for their compassionate care and professionalism throughout.  We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

HOGG – Jackie’s wife Brenda, sons Stephen and Raymond and daughter Denise and family circle wish to thank most sincerely all our kind relations, friends and neighbours for the support and sympathy shown to us following our recent sad bereavement.

We would especially like to thank the Ambulance Service, Causeway Hospital, Dr. Donaghy from Magherafelt Medical Centre, the District Nursing Team and Carers of all the kindness and care shown to Jackie.

Acknowledgement for Bryan Jones

Des and Elizabeth and brothers Alan, Alastair and Trevor and sister Lynn and family circle of the late Bryan Jones wish to thank most sincerely all our kind friends, relations and neighbours for their prayers, genuine support and sympathy shown to us through our recent tragic bereavement.

We would especially like to thank the Paramedics of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Northern Ireland Air Ambulance for all they did. Heartfelt gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses of ICU Royal Victoria Hospital for the care and attention given to Bryan.

Sincere thanks to those who called at the home, sent cards, telephoned, attended the funeral and for the kind gesture of all those who stood along the route and outside the church to pay their respects as Bryan’s cortége passed by. Thanks to the members of Ballynenagh Flute Band, Ballynenagh LOL 142 and Ballynenagh RBP 1112 for the guard of honour outside the church.

Grateful thanks to all those who took part in the funeral service, especially Rev Adrain Stringer and Mr Ian Booth for speaking at the service, the Select Vestry of St. Matthias Ballyeglish Parish Church, singers Miss Caroline Jones and Miss Sophie Shiels, organist Mrs Helen Jones and Miss Amy Jones for the reading and tribute.

We sincerely thank all those who gave donations in lieu of flowers for The Faith Mission and Air Ambulance NI, we are truly humbled by the amount of £8,244 which was kindly donated.

Acknowledgement for Noel Thomas Leslie Young

The family of the late Noel Young would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. Thanks to those who telephoned, sent cards and messages of comfort, called at the home and brought gifts, ran errands, the gravedigger and those who gave donations in lieu of flowers towards Cancer Research. Thanks also to all our neighbours, friends and the wider family circle who joined with us for the funeral service, the people who stood respectfully along the route of the funeral cortege, at the graveside and, indeed, everyone who showed kindness in any way. Sincere thanks to Dr Hunter, Fairhill Medical Practice, the Ambulance Service, all the medical staff in the RVH, Belfast City Hospital Cancer Centre, the District Nursing Team and carers who attended to Noel’s needs compassionately during his illness. Special thanks to Mr Leslie Craig for a beautiful funeral service also to Mr Lennox Scott for his pastoral care to Noel over the weeks prior to his passing and for his part in the service at the graveside. Finally, our most humble thanks to Jordan and all the staff at Garvin’s Funeral Service for the caring, dignified and professional manner in which the funeral, from first contact to finish, was conducted.

BEATTIE  –  The husband Noel and daughter Karen of the late Margaret Beattie wish to thank most sincerely all our kind relations, friends and neighbours for the support and sympathy shown to us following our recent bereavement.  We would especially like to thank family and friends who called at the home, sent messages and cards, brought food, gave kind donations in lieu of flowers, attended the funeral or helped in any way. Thanks to the Doctors and nurses in Ward C5 at Antrim Area Hospital, the carers from Extra Care who attended to Margaret at home and to Dr. Woulahan and staff at Castledawson Surgery.  Thank you to Rev Ruth Murray for her pastoral care and for conducting the funeral service and also to Polepatrick cemetery staff for their help.  Grateful thanks to Joanne Hawkes, Anne McCloskey, Twyla Moffitt, Mandy Monteith and Nadine Quilty for serving refreshments at the wake and after the funeral, their kindness and practical help will always be remembered, also to Ditty’s Bakery for providing the lovely food.  Special thanks to those who continue to reach out to our family at this time of great loss.  Finally, thank you to Jordan Kennedy and Robert McMaster of Garvin’s Funeral Service for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were made and carried out.  Trusting this acknowledgment is accepted by all as a token of heartfelt appreciation.

Acknowledgement for Samuel (Sam) McCartney

Sally, wife of the late Samuel (Sam) McCartney and brother of Sadie, Robert, Anne, Sandy, Hazel, Margaret and Vera, wish to express their sincere appreciation to all who sympathised with them in their sad bereavement.  Heartfelt thanks to everyone who telephoned, sent messages and cards and gave donations to Let the Bible Speak which came to a total of £1730 plus a belated donation received of £80, which brought the final total to £1810.  A special word of thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Coagh Surgery, the team from Homecare Independent Living and Marie Curie Nurses who made it possible for us to care for Sam at home.  We gratefully appreciated the pastoral care given by Rev Ryan McKee and Rev William McCrea during the months of Sam’s illness and for conducting the funeral services, also for the love and support of members of Calvary Free Presbyterian Church.
