Acknowledgement for Samuel (Sam) McCartney

Sally, wife of the late Samuel (Sam) McCartney and brother of Sadie, Robert, Anne, Sandy, Hazel, Margaret and Vera, wish to express their sincere appreciation to all who sympathised with them in their sad bereavement.  Heartfelt thanks to everyone who telephoned, sent messages and cards and gave donations to Let the Bible Speak which came to a total of £1730.  A special word of thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Coagh Surgery, the team from Homecare Independent Living and Marie Curie Nurses who made it possible for us to care for Sam at home.  We gratefully appreciated the pastoral care given by Rev Ryan McKee and Rev William McCrea during the months of Sam’s illness and for conducting the funeral services, also for the love and support of members of Calvary Free Presbyterian Church. A simple thank you is not enough for Jordan Kennedy at Garvin’s Funeral Service for his sensitive and gentle care from start to finish in carrying out the funeral arrangements and also that of his staff.  As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude.
