Acknowledgement for Alexander (Sandy) Lee

The wife, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren of the late Sandy Lee would like to thank all those who sympathised with them at the time of his passing. To the kind relatives and friends who helped or called at the home, telephoned, brought gifts, sent cards and messages of sympathy, and attended the funeral. We would like to thank the dedicated care teams from Home Care Independent, Extra Care and Trackars who looked after him in his home, and to the staff of Coleraine hospital. Much appreciation goes to the staff of Castledawson Surgery and the staff of Castledawson Pharmacy. A special thanks to the Rev Glenn Jordan for his support and conducting the funeral service. Sincere thanks to Garvin’s Funeral Service for the professional and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral, and the PSNI for their assistance. Thanks to Edith Blair and her team of helpers for providing and serving excellent refreshments following the service. A final thanks to all those who donated in memory of Sandy towards Macmillan Nursing Care and Knockloughrim Presbyterian Church Sunday School. We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.

Acknowledgment for William (Billy) McClenaghan

The family of the late William McClenaghan wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us and provided much needed support following our recent sad bereavement.  Thank you to all those who called or sent cards of sympathy.  Thanks to Dr. Hunter of Fairhill Health Centre and the wonderful staff of Antrim Area and Altnagelvin Hospitals for the care they provided for Billy. We gratefully appreciated the pastoral care provided by Pastor Nobel Maxwell over the past few months of Billy’s illness and for the love and support of members of Magherafelt Independent Methodist Church.  Thanks to Mrs Elaine Maxwell for playing the organ and to Mr George Bates who also participated in the funeral service. Special thanks to Mr Jordan Kennedy and staff at Garvin’s Funeral Service for the professional and friendly service they provided at this difficult time.  We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.

Acknowledgement for Richard (Dick) Johnston

The family of the late Richard Johnston wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement.  Thank you to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us with Mass and sympathy cards, phone calls, tributes and a show of respect for Richard’s Funeral Cortége.  Many thanks to the McCann Family for binging Benjie the dog to Richard’s funeral.  Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Antrim Area Hospital and to the Care Homes for their professional and attentive care to Richard, social worker Mairead Brogan, the grave diggers and nieces Geraldine and Siobhan for being so helpful. Grateful thanks to all those who gave donations in lieu of flowers. Our gratitude to Fr. Gates and Fr. Fox for all their help, spiritual support and guidance through these difficult times.  Thanks to Jordan and staff at Garvin’s Funeral Service for the dignified and caring manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.  A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.  We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

The family of the late Dorothy McKee wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them and provided much needed support at this sad time.  We also want to thank the wonderful staff of the Marina Nursing Home, for the care they provided for Dorothy.  We gratefully appreciate the pastoral care provided by the Rev. Stephen, Valerie, Taylor and the family circle of the late Aimee, wish to thank most sincerely all our kind relations, friends and neighbours for the support and sympathy shown to us following our sad bereavement.  We would especially like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and all the Staff at the Clark Clinic and P.I.C.U. and the Staff at Children’s Heartbeat Trust for their support, also to everyone that visited Aimee in hospital and those that supported her journey through the Just Giving Page.  Many thanks to everyone that called at the home, sent cards or sent messages via the phone, brought gifts, helped at the wake, gave donations in lieu of flowers or helped in any way.  Grateful thanks to Archdeacon Scott for conducting a beautiful funeral service and to Miss Hollie Rodgers for singing at the funeral service, Aimee’s friend to the end. Thanks to the organist, caretaker and grave digger, also to the ladies of St. Swithin’s Parish Church for providing the refreshments afterwards.
